Hey Reader! One of my favorite Italian traditions is Sunday lunch. Growing up, Sunday lunch was my favorite part of the week: getting in the car in the late morning to drive to my grandparents, being able to play with my cousins, having a feast at the big table with my entire family. It's one of the things I miss the most now that I live abroad. The menu for Sunday lunch was not very varied, but I loved the predictability. Lasagna, Pasta al Forno, Polenta, or Tortelli were the favorite first mains. Then Roast Beef, Polpettone, or Arista al Forno were next. So here's the recipe for Arista, the classic Tuscan Roast Pork, just like my grandma does it. Arista al Forno (Tuscan Roast Pork Loin)Juicy, aromatic, and full of rustic flavor, Arista al Forno is a traditional Tuscan roasted pork loin dish that is often served at Sunday lunch with the family, and it's such a comforting and classic dish in every Tuscan household.
