Forget Pumpkin Spice, the REAL official Fall flavor is...

Hey Reader!

I know, I know, some of you may disagree. But as much as I enjoy Pumpkin Spice, as an Italian, I've never really experienced it growing up. To me, the real official Fall flavor is...

Apple Cinnamon.

There. I said it!

When the first apple cake would appear on our table, you knew it was officially Fall. So if you agree, here is my family's favorite recipe:

Easy Italian Apple Cake

A soft and easy apple cake which is part of the Italian tradition. Every grandma bakes an apple cake in fall! Baking this cake is super easy as you only need one large bowl. The result is a super soft and moist cake full of delicious apple slices. A warm slice of apple cake is the perfect breakfast or fall dessert for the whole family!

This brand new recipe published yesterday, instead, it's a great quick & easy dessert you can whip up in minutes!

Puff Pastry Apple Tarts (with Almond Cream)

Crisp, buttery puff pastry topped with creamy almond filling and thinly sliced apples — these Puff Pastry Apple Tarts are so simple and delicious. The sweet almond cream (frangipane) puffs up beautifully under caramelized apples, creating a bakery-style dessert that looks impressive but takes only minutes to prepare.

That means, whoever wrote the menu is NOT Italian. :) Apart from the tricky spelling, this is one of the easiest...
